Step into the sea-themed Kapitan.sg, where 21-year-old Ukrainian Mark Zubovskyy works hard to steer his family business through delicious food, especially the ‘ang moh dumplings’ that became a TikTok sensation.

Sail through your meal with signatures like Pelmeni (Russian dumplings) and Vareniki (Ukranian dumplings). For the fillings, pick from salmon, beef, pork, lamb, and chicken. Vegetarians should try the paneer (Indian cottage cheese) or potato dumplings.

Kapitan also serves Zharkoe, a hearty Russian stew with pork meat served in a bread bowl with sauteed mushrooms and cheese. Other crows favourites include Beef Stroganoff, Cheburek (fired pastry with fillings), and Medovik (multi-layered Slavic honey cake).
