What to expect at Christmas Wonderland this year

When it comes to Christmas Wonderland, every year is an opportunity to outdo the last and 2025’s is no exception! Catch the SuperGrove light up in a breathtaking display that feels like a perfect curtain call for the year. Here’s everything you can expect when you visit.

  • The Spalliera: This is the icon, the moment, the star of the show. The 20-metre-tall light display is the centerpiece that comes back every year. This year, it features a brand new upgraded display, handcrafted by artisans from southern Italy and draws inspiration from Italian Gothic architecture. A perfect tribute to traditional European architecture but with a local and modern flair!

  • Blizzard Time: Bask in a chorus of cheers as the air fills with snowflakes from this simulated “snowfall”. And although the snow may be fake, that doesn’t mean the delight isn’t real.

  • Walk of Lights: This enchanting 50-metre-long illuminated tunnel is as romantic as it gets. Why kiss under the mistletoe when you can kiss among the stunning lights and gorgeous displays? Just keep it low-key as there will be families and children running amok.

  • Festive Entertainment: Christmas isn’t Christmas without the soulful carols and a bit of dancing! Look forward to an expanded line-up of entertainment, which includes festive flash mobs and choral performances.

Catch Santa making his trip from the North Pole every night, or settle under enchanting borealis that light up the skies every Saturday to Monday night. You can also watch your favourite local singers like Angel Vaishilee live.

  • Carnival Rides and Games: Need a break from all the walking? Enjoy some traditional carnival games and rides, such as the double-storey Venetian horse carousel and the CDG Zig Express Christmas Train, priced between S$4 and S$15.

  • Mistletoe Alley: Experience Christmas markets the Singapore style at Mistletoe Alley — where instead of mulled wines, you can get local tea specialist, Pétale tea, and instead of roast sausages, you can get PARKroyal roasted turduckens. Shop from these festive huts for seasonal goods, perfect for picking up some last-minute gifts.

Tips and tricks for a magical visit

Warding off bad energy from queues, crowds, and parking drama. ✋These tips and tricks will keep your day stress-free and enjoyable, so all you have to worry about is finding the best angles for your Instagram feed!

  1. Parking is limited, especially during peak hours, so we recommend you plan your trip ahead of time. If you want some cheaper options in the vicinity with higher chances of finding a lot, I got you!

  2. Carpark Options: If you still choose to park at Gardens by the Bay, your main parking options are the Main Entrance (Basement), The Meadow (Open-air), and Bayfront Plaza (Open-air). Bayfront Plaza Carpark is a popular choice, and from there, you can enter the event via Gate 3.

  3. Avoid the Crowd: Try to visit on a weeknight if you can! Weekends are guaranteed to be packed since this is one of Singapore’s most popular Christmas events.

  4. Check the Map: Once you arrive, check the official Christmas Wonderland site map to find where your favourite attractions, like the Spalliera or Santa's Village, are located.

  5. Make a day of it: Don't forget that your Christmas Wonderland ticket does not include admission to other attractions like the Flower Dome, Cloud Forest, or OCBC Skyway. If you’re interested in a full day of Christmas cheer, there are package options available.

My recommendation is to check out the Gardens by the Bay Christmas Train Show in the Flower Dome. It’s giving the Polar Express vibes in the best way possible, as the train chugs around various iconic landmarks found from all around the world.
