Enjoy dedicated access to GetGo vehicles right from your condominium

If you’re a GetGoer living in a condominium, we have some great news for you! We’re excited to announce that participating condo residents will have dedicated access to GetGo vehicles located in their properties from 28 November 2024.

These vehicles will only be available for booking by condo residents, providing a convenient and dedicated mobility option for those living within the community.

How our new feature benefits condominium residents

If you’re a condo resident, we can help bring carsharing convenience right to your property. You won’t need to walk to a carpark that’s further away because you’ll have a dedicated GetGo vehicle at your location that can only be booked by condo residents.

Here are several ways that dedicated GetGo vehicles can benefit condo residents:

Imagine stepping out of your condo and being able to book and drive the dedicated GetGo vehicle that’s conveniently located right in your property’s parking lot. In just minutes, you could be on your way to making a grocery run to restock your kitchen, taking that special someone out for dinner and a movie, or taking your family out for a weekend getaway.

Whether you want to take a spontaneous trip for a few hours or plan to go on a full-day excursion with friends and family, having a dedicated GetGo vehicle right at your condo makes driving easy and convenient. No more searching for a car or waiting — just book and go, knowing that your next adventure is right outside your door.

How dedicated vehicles will appear on the GetGo app

While enabling dedicated GetGo vehicles makes the carsharing experience more convenient for condominium residents, there will be no apparent visual differences on our app’s map screen.

Condo residents and non-residents will see the same vehicle location pins on the app’s map screen. However, the prompts condo residents receive after tapping a pin will differ from those received by non-residents.

As you can see from the image below, only residents will be able to book the vehicle:

Important note: Access to a condo’s dedicated GetGo vehicles is determined by the address associated with your account. If you live in a condo with dedicated GetGo vehicles and have not updated your address, you can do so via our Live Chat.

How to get a dedicated GetGo vehicle at your condominium

Having a dedicated vehicle right at your doorstep is easier than you think. All you need to do is let your condo management council know that you’re interested in having a dedicated GetGo vehicle on your property and share our Condo Onboarding Form with them to complete.

This form starts the process of placing a dedicated vehicle in your condo. Once completed, our team will contact your condo management council to discuss how we can bring one to your location.

Remember, the more interest from residents, the easier it’ll be to bring a dedicated vehicle to your condo. So spread the word and let your neighbours know that they can also enjoy the convenience of having a dedicated GetGo vehicle.
