After a month of fasting from dawn till dusk, the Muslim community wraps up the season with festivities and good food, often in the form of street-side bazaars. While these Ramadan bazaars are rooted in tradition, they are much loved and frequented by all races and backgrounds alike.

You can expect a range of stalls, from the nostalgic Ramly Burger to trendier ones selling the latest crazes; be it the rolled ice creams from 2017, or more recent sensations like Dubai chocolate. Whether you’re looking to celebrate Ramadan with friends and families, or just a foodie on the hunt for some sick eats, here’s an ultimate guide to the best Ramadan Bazaars in 2026.

As the cornerstone for local Malay heritage, Kampong Gelam is gearing up for an epic celebration that goes beyond serving up street food. This year, they’re kicking off celebrations with a meaningful Night Walk With Pelita (oil lamps), meant to be a reflective journey targeted at families and youth.

As the month stretches on, you can expect community-bonding activities, such as the mass iftar and interactive workshops for kids. But if you’re just dropping by, then you should definitely make a beeline for their mouthwatering street food selection. Although specific stall details have yet to be released, favourites from 2025 that we hope to see return include Picanhas and La Birria Tacos – delivering juicy, tender steaks and loaded tacos that’ll leave you addicted after the first bite.

The Geylang Serai Bazaar is another one of the most highly anticipated bazaars, drawing crowds with its extensive food and retail lineup. Last year, they featured a whopping 500 stalls with 150 dedicated to F&B, and this year is projected to be no different. While prices here can get steep, they keep things wallet-friendly by ensuring at least 2 items from each stall are priced at $4 and below.

Be prepared for a lively, high-energy atmosphere as their winding walkways fill with excited shoppers stocking up on Ramadan snacks or just getting their fill of the fun. Organisers have made it a point to have at least 100 stalls serving authentic Malaysian cuisine, so be sure to go for classics like the Ramly burgers and otah.
