Calling all young computer enthusiasts! This hands-on coding workshop is for you. It’s tailored for young minds to dive into the world of coding using Scratch, a beginner-friendly platform that turns coding into creative play. Learn the basics of programming while creating your very own Star Catcher game, complete with cool animations and a working scoring system. Plus, you’ll get to showcase your creations to the class! Ms Nat Gets Messy: Artistic Exploration

Calling all youngsters aged 2 to 4 (and their grown-up sidekicks), Ms Nat Gets Messy is a vibrant, tactile voyage into the world of big feelings. Through playful storytelling, catchy tunes, movement, and sensory-filled arts and crafts, mini creators will learn to explore and express emotions in a safe and supportive space. Expect laughter, paint-splattered fingers, and lots of heartwarming moments — it’s emotional learning, the fun way!

02 • Little Artists: Curious Learners, Big HeARTs!

Curious Learners, Big HeARTs is a programme hosted at Singapore libraries for budding minds aged 4 to 6. It aims to spark creativity while teaching valuable life lessons. In this session, dive into The Adventures of a Plastic Bottle by Alison Inches. This clever tale is told from the perspective of a bottle on its journey from creation to recycling. Afterwards, it’s time to roll up those sleeves! Kids will get hands-on with repurposing plastic bottles using recycled bits like string, lace, and buttons. It’s all about learning to care for the planet, one craft at a time.

01 • Police Pals @ Libraries 

Sound the sirens because it’s storytime with the Singapore Police Force! Join the friendly officers and Police Pal Ray as they leap into action to help those in need. Through exciting quests, young readers will learn about the important role of police officers, the values they uphold, and simple ways to stay safe. It’s the perfect way for your lil’ bubbas to learn about helping and being a little everyday hero.

01 • The Book Quest

Held by The Speech Club, this supportive programme for participants aged 6 to 10 helps them practise speech sounds while building confidence and communication skills. Through exciting activities like a library book hunt, show and tell, and collaborative games, children will sharpen their public speaking, language, and social interaction skills — all while having a memorable time with peers. It’s a conducive space for young voices to grow stronger, louder, and prouder.

02 • Children Write: Holidays Done Write with Sandeep

This June, give your child the chance to stretch their imagination and build their storytelling skills in a fun, hands-on way. In this creative writing workshop, children aged 7–12 will use their favourite toy as inspiration to dream up fantastical worlds and bring them to life — through stories, drawings, poems, or even skits. It’s a great way to encourage self-expression, spark creativity, and keep those curious minds engaged (and off screens for a while!).

Join Rika, the investigative scientist, for an exciting hands-on science adventure. Don’t forget to witness beans reacting with sodium bicarbonate and citric acid at the various thematic booths. Through experiments, children will get to explore fascinating science concepts and see them come to life in the most exciting and intelligible ways.
