From 18 September to 31 October 2023, earn extra rewards when you make successful referrals. This means you get an $8 referral discount plus an additional $5, $15, or $30 promo code, depending on the number of invitees you refer!

Note: The extra promo code is valid for 1 month from the issue date. You’ll receive your promo code via email at the end of the campaign period (within a week after 31 October 2023).

What do my invitees receive?

Once your invitees have successfully signed up for a GetGo account with your referral code, they’ll receive an $8 referral discount, which will apply automatically to their first booking.

They’ll also receive an additional $5 promo code once their account is approved.

Your invitees can stack the $5 promo code with their $8 referral discount to enjoy $13 off their first drive.

More referrals, more rewards!

When you successfully invite someone, you’ll receive a base referral discount of $8. During this limited period, you’ll enjoy greater rewards based on the number of successful invites.

1 successful invite = extra $5 reward
2 successful invites = extra $15 reward
3 or more successful invites = extra $30 reward

How does the referral work?

Step 1: Share your referral code with friends and family.

Step 2: Your invitees use your code and register for a GetGo account. Upon successful registration, they’ll get an $8 referral discount that will be automatically applied on their first drive and an additional $5 promo code via their GetGo app inbox.

Step 3: Your $8 referral discount will automatically apply to your next drive once your invitee completes their first drive. You’ll then receive your additional referral reward in the form of a promo code after the campaign via email.

Step 4: Use your reward for your next drive.

What else do I need to know?

You’ll receive a reward in the form of a promo code (up to $30) on top of the existing $8 referral discount when you make 3 or more successful referrals from 18 September to 31 October 2023.
A successful referral means your invitee used your referral code during sign-up and completed their first drive.
Your promo code will be sent to you via email.

How does the referral system work?

Give $8, get $8 — share your referral code with friends or family to use when they sign up for a GetGo account. Once they’ve successfully completed their first booking, an $8 referral discount will automatically apply to your next booking.

When and how will I receive my extra reward?

You’ll receive it via email after the campaign period ends (within a week after 31 October 2023) if you qualify for the reward — defined as your invitee(s) completing their first drive between 18 September and 31 October 2023.

You must be subscribed via email to receive the reward. To subscribe, launch the GetGo app, tap Account > Settings > Communications > Updates and Rewards, and toggle Email on.

Do I still get the reward if I referred a friend before the campaign started?

You’ll only qualify for the reward if your friend signed up for a GetGo account and completed their first drive anytime between 18 September and 31 October 2023.

How can I track successful referrals?

Invitees who have completed their first drives between 18 September and 31 October 2023 are counted as successful referrals.

You can access your referral history in the GetGo app by tapping Referral > Referral History > 1st booking.

I have 2 friends who completed their first drives between 18 September and 31 October 2023. What rewards will we get?

Your friends will get one $5 promo code each via the GetGo app inbox once their account sign-up (with your referral code) is approved.

You’ll then get one $15 promo code via email after the campaign period has ended (within a week after 31 October 2023).

Why haven’t I received my reward even though my friend completed their first drive successfully?

You’ll get your reward via email after the campaign period ends (within a week after 31 October 2023) once your friend completes their first drive between 18 September and 31 October 2023.

You must stay subscribed via email to receive the reward. To subscribe, launch the GetGo app, tap Account > Settings > Communications > Updates and Rewards, and toggle Email on.

What reward can I get for referring friends and family to GetGo?

You’ll receive a $5 promo code for 1 successful referral — defined as an invitee completing their first drive between 18 September and 31 October 2023. For 2 successful referrals, you’ll receive a $15 promo code, and for 3 or more successful referrals, you’ll receive a $30 promo code.

This means the more friends you refer, the higher the value of rewards you’ll get!

Can I stack the promo code with other promotions?

The promo code rewarded for referring your friends and family cannot be used in conjunction with other vouchers or promotions. Each code can only be used in 1 transaction and is valid for 4 weeks after it’s rewarded to you.

Please check the terms and conditions of the code before using it.

If my promo code expires before I use it, can I get a new one?

The promo code is only valid for bookings made within 4 weeks from its date of issue.

This means that if you receive your code on 1 November, you’ll only be able to use it for bookings scheduled and completed by 1 December 2023. We’ll not issue new codes to replace expired codes.

Can I pass my promo code for another friend to use?

Your promo code cannot be shared between users and is rewarded to you solely for sharing the freedom to drive with your friends and family.

Are there any restrictions to the promo code?

The promo code awarded is applicable to the time charge only, and excludes Premium and Luxury vehicles.

Why is this referral campaign only available till 31 October 2023? Will it continue?

Definitions

1. Promotion Period starts from 18 September and ends on 31 October 2023.

2. Referrer refers to a user who shares their unique referral code with a new-to-GetGo user.

3. Invitee refers to a user who signed up with a referral code.

4. A successful referral is defined as an invitee completing their first drive.

Promotion Terms and Conditions

1. This campaign is only valid within the stipulated Promotion Period.

2. To qualify for the promotion and receive the reward in the form of a promo code, users must fulfil the following criteria:

For referrers
- Each referee completes their first drive during the Promotion Period.
For invitees
- When their accounts are approved with the use of an existing user’s referral code at the point of account registration.

3. Users will receive their promo code within a week after the Promotion Period via email.

4. Promo code awarded may only be redeemed for bookings scheduled and completed for 1 month from date of issue.

5. Each promo code can only be redeemed for 1 transaction and cannot be split across multiple transactions.

6. The promo code cannot be used in conjunction with other promotions and vouchers.

7. The promo code is not replaceable, exchangeable for cash nor transferable to other GetGo users, and will be forfeited upon a booking cancellation wherein the reward voucher has been applied.

8. In the event that a user’s account is closed, suspended or not in good standing throughout the Promotion Period and at the time when the Reward is being credited, GetGo reserves the right to forfeit the Reward.

9. GetGo’s decision on all matters relating to its marketing and promotional campaigns shall be final. No correspondence or claims will be entertained.

10. GetGo reserves the sole and absolute right to withdraw, amend, and/or alter any part or the whole terms and conditions of the promotion without prior notice.
