The most-awaited March school holidays are catching up real fast and if you’ve been stressing out planning your family outings, stop right there. We’ve come up with a list of carefully curated family-friendly activities that you can do here in Singapore — they’re both entertaining and informative, so you can be sure that your kids will get to make the most of their break.
And if you need a ride to these places, check out how you can rent a GetGo car in less than just 3 minutes.
01 • Hit all the rides at Universal Studios Singapore
(Photo: Resorts World Sentosa)
To kickstart the holidays on a smashing note, make your way to Universal Studios Singapore where the Battlestar Galactica twin coasters await you. You’ll have to pick a side between Human and Cyclon before you’ll get to embark on the adrenaline-packed ride. It gives us goosebumps to even think about being on intertwined coasters. 😨
Once you’re done screaming your lungs out, go cool off by meeting your favourite animal buddies from Madagascar for one last boogie and indoor boat ride before the zone closes down after March 27.
📍 Address: 8 Sentosa Gateway, Sentosa Island, Singapore 098269
⏰ Opening hours: Fri to Sun, 12pm – 7pm

02 • Have a splashing good time at Adventure Cove Waterpark
(Photo: KBXD)
Terrified of roller coasters? That makes the two of us. 😛
Skip the scary rides and get going to Adventure Cove Waterpark instead where you’ll be able to chill out in the wave pool or the winding river. Those who are more adventurous should absolutely check out the hydro-magnetic coaster — it’s the first of its kind in Southeast Asia and is surely the highlight of the waterpark!
📍 Address: 8 Sentosa Gateway, Sentosa Island, Singapore 098269
⏰ Opening hours: Fri to Sun, 10 am – 5pm

(Photo: National Parks Board)
If your buds fancy being outdoors and closer to nature, we recommend a peaceful walk with the fam along the 4-kilometre central stretch of the Rail Corridor (also known as the Green Corridor). Not only will you get your daily exercise fix, but you’ll also go home with a lot of knowledge about Singapore’s railway history.
(Fun fact you can share with your kids: While researching about the Rail Corridor, we learnt that the original plan back in the days was to connect Singapore and Russia via train!)
⏰ Opening hours: 24/7 (Please take note that there’s no lighting along the Rail Corridor except at major intersections)

Can’t get your kid out of the water, can you? We totally feel you. Luckily, Sentosa is never short of water-related activities, so block your calendar now for more aquatic adventures at HydroDash. Put your balancing skills to the test by climbing up steep, slippery floating platforms and allow yourself to feel the sheer terror of possibly falling into the sea if you slip.

Along the way, you and your kid can also enjoy a view of Singapore’s landmarks. Young racers above 120cm can take off on their own without parental supervision!
