With its chic and classy interior, The White Label is a perfect place to go when you want to dress your best. They offer a unique, one-of-a-kind French-Malayan cuisine that brings out the best of both cultures — and even pioneered the first halal trolley buffet concept in Singapore!
Sharing some of my favourites, the Lobster Bisque ($16) was generously packed with chunks of lobster meat in a bed of creamy, rich stew. The Curry Battered Fish And Chips ($25) spiced up an old classic with fresh flavours. The fragrant aroma of the curry adds a lingering kick to the dish. 🌶️

03 • Casa Brazilia

Another great Muslim-friendly fine dining option is Casa Brazilia, which presents authentic Brazilian steak barbeque made in a 100% halal kitchen. Who could resist premium cuts of beef that’s slow-roasted and carved straight onto your plate? Every cut comes piping hot and dripping with juices? We recommend the Tenderloin for a melt-in-your-mouth texture and flavours that will transport you straight to meat heaven.
As if that wasn’t good enough, they also offer a range of traditional side dishes and desserts that perfectly complement and balance out the rich flavours of the steak. From the crispy and salty Tri Color Fries to the delightfully creamy Panna Cottas, this restaurant just screams taste and quality.

04 • Espoir

Espoir is another European-Malayan concept restaurant that perfectly blends the 2 cuisines into a sophisticated menu. They feature classic European ingredients while incorporating the nostalgic local flavours we all know and love.
I started my meal with the Foie Gras. It was rich, creamy, and buttery, contrasted by a crunchy slice of toast. I followed that up with the Lamb Ribs w Lemak Chilli Padi Pasta, and was pleasantly surprised at the creative blend of flavours, which brought the pasta taste up a notch. The fall-off-the-bone lamb meat combined with the chilli padi heat was a match made in heaven!
Be sure to also make room in your tummy for their bottomless tapas buffet. It showcases the beauty of Spanish cuisine with a twist of Southeast Asian flavours.

05 • OUD restaurant

If you’re looking for an upscale gourmet dining experience, OUD is the place to be. This halal fine dining establishment is headed by 4 well-established chefs who previously worked at Michelin-starred restaurants. The exquisite dishes they craft are a reflection of their expertise and years of industry experience.
One of their innovative dishes, the OUD Fries ($5.50), features a crispy fried potato topped with an option of beef, salmon, or tuna tartare. The potato was well-seasoned and not overly greasy, while the tartare added freshness and complexity to the dish.
The Black Miso Cod Fish ($38) was cooked to flaky and tender perfection, and soaked in an umami sauce. Whether it’s taste, quality, or presentation, you can count on OUD to have you and your loved ones thoroughly impressed.
