We have no hymn for the weekend, but we have the latest scoop on what’s happening in town. From quirky dining experiences to heart-pounding fun, here’s what you can do to make the most of your time before it’s Monday again.

01 • Le Petit Chef (halal)

The world’s tiniest chef is ready to prove that size doesn’t matter when it comes to food. Watch as the 6cm-tall animated character sources ingredients and prepares your dishes from scratch. Every course is packed with big and bold flavours, but our personal favourite has to be the Filet Mignon with Morel Sauce. The dish, which comes with creamy mushroom sauce which perfectly complements the succulent steak, is a definite must-try.

02 • The Social Outcast (halal)

High risk, high reward. The first thing you’ll see upon reaching this restaurant is the striking board outside which reads, “Don’t ask for a menu because we don’t have one”. Although intimidating to some, their 7-course Woodfire Experiential Dining, which features smoky and tantalising dishes and meats, has gathered a whopping 4.6 stars on Google for a reason. Leave your fate in the chef’s trusty hands as he personalises each course for you – you’ll leave with your belly and heart full from his culinary skill and hospitality. 🔥

📍 Address: 89 East Coast Road, #01-01, Singapore 428790

03 • Mr Mookata Plus

The mookata isn’t the only thing that’s smoking hot at this eatery, the muscular hunks serving your food are too.

Now, for the food: You can choose between ordering individual dishes or a 90-minute Mookata Buffet. We recommend that you give the complementary prawn peeling service a shot — not only are they peeled by muscular hunks, but they’re also juicy and fresh. 🍤

If you’re not a big fan of mookata, go for the Lala Hotpot which comes with lala clams, enoki mushrooms, crab meat, and more.

04 • Absurdities

Aptly named, Absurdities will challenge everything you know about food and the typical dining experience. Be prepared to climb and crawl into a different dimension throughout your 6-course omakase meal, which includes a plethora of popular dishes made with a twist. Your dining location changes with each course, teleporting you to the depths of an Egyptian jungle and even across time.

💡 Pro tip: Dress comfortably to get the most out of your experience!
