From 19 June to 31 July, get an extra $5 promo code for every successful referral. This means you can enjoy a total of $13 off ($8 referral discount +$5 promo code).

Note: The extra $5 promo code is valid for 3 months from the date of issue. You’ll receive your promo code(s) via email within 14 days after every successful referral.

What does my friend get for signing up?

We have something for your friend too! When they use your referral code to sign up for a GetGo account, we’ll send them a $5 promo code via email within 14 days once their account is approved.

This means that your friend can stack the $5 promo code with their $8 referral discount to enjoy $13 off their first drive. 🎁

Here’s how it works

Step 1: Share your referral code with a friend to use during sign-up.

Step 2: Your friend uses your code and registers for a GetGo account. They will enjoy the $8 referral discount for their first drive and an additional $5 promo code sent via email within 14 days of account approval.

Step 3: $8 will be automatically applied to your next drive once your friend completes their first drive. Additionally, you’ll receive an email with a $5 promo code within 14 days.

Step 4: Stack the $5 promo code with your $8 referral discount for $13 off.

What else do I need to know?

You’ll receive an extra $5 promo code on top of the existing $8 referral discount with every successful referral made from 19 June to 31 July 2023.
A successful referral means that your friend used your referral code during sign-up and completed their first drive.
Subscribe to Updates and Rewards via the app for your $5 promo code. To do so, go to Account > Settings > Communications > Updates and Rewards. Then, toggle Email on.
Your promo code will be emailed to you within 14 days after every successful referral.

How does the referral system work?

Give $8, get $8 — share your referral code with a friend for them to use to sign up for a GetGo account. Once they have successfully completed their first booking, an $8 referral discount will be applied automatically to your next booking.

When and how will I receive the extra $5 promo code(s)?

You’ll receive your extra $5 promo code(s) via email within 14 days after every successful referral — defined as your friend completing their first drive between 19 June and 31 July 2023.

Please stay subscribed via email to ensure you receive the reward! To ensure you are subscribed to receive your reward, launch the GetGo app, tap on Account > Settings > Communications > Updates and Rewards and toggle Email on.

Do I still get the promo code if I referred a friend before the campaign started?

You will qualify for the promo code if your friend signed up for a GetGo account previously but completed their first drive with us anytime between 19 June and 31 July 2023.

How can I track successful referrals?

Friends who have completed their first drives between 19 June and 31 July 2023 are counted as successful referrals.

You can access your referral history in the GetGo app. Simply tap Referral > Referral History > 1st booking.

I have 2 friends who successfully completed their first drives between 19 June-31 July 2023. What rewards do we get?

Your friend will get one $5 promo code each via email once their account sign-up (with your referral code) is approved.
You will then get two $5 promo codes via email within 14 days of every successful referral — defined as your friends completing their first drives between 19 June and 31 July 2023.

Why haven’t I received the promo code even though my friend completed their first drive successfully?

You will get the $5 promo code via email within 14 days once your friend completes their first drive between 19 June to 31 July 2023.

Please check if you are subscribed to receive rewards via email. To subscribe, launch the GetGo app, tap Account > Settings > Communications > Updates and Rewards and toggle Email on.

How many $5 promo codes can I get for referring friends?

You will get a $5 promo code every time you make a successful referral —defined as your friend completing their first drive between 19 June and 31 July 2023.

This means that the more friends you refer, the more $5 promo codes you get!

Can I stack the $5 promo code with other promotions?

The $5 promo code(s) awarded cannot be used in conjunction with other vouchers or promotions. Each code can only be used in 1 transaction and is valid for 3 months after it is rewarded to you. We encourage you to check the terms and conditions of the code before using it.

If my $5 promo code expires before I use it, can I get a new one?

The promo code is only valid for bookings made within 3 months from its date of issue.

This means that if you receive your code on 3 July 2023, you will only be able to use it for bookings made until 2 October 2023. We will not issue new codes once they expire.

Can I pass the $5 promo code for another friend to use?

The promo code cannot be shared between users and is rewarded to you solely for supporting our mission towards driving freedom.

Why is this referral campaign only available till July 2023? Will it continue?

We thank you for believing in our mission towards driving freedom! The campaign is only valid from 19 June to 31 July 2023 for now.

Definitions

1. Promotion Period starts from 19 June and ends on 31 July 2023.

2. Referrer refers to a user who shares their unique referral code with a new-to-GetGo user.

3. Referee refers to a user who signed up with a referral code.

4. A successful referral is defined as a referee completing their first drive.

Promotion Terms and Conditions

1. This campaign is only valid within the stipulated Promotion Period.

2. To qualify for the promotion and receive the $5 promo code(s), users must fulfil the following criteria:

For referrers
- Each referee completes their first drive during the Promotion Period.
For referees
- When their accounts are approved with the use of an existing user’s referral code at the point of account registration.

3. Users will receive their $5 promo code(s) within 14 days of every successful referral.

4. $5 promo code(s) awarded may only be redeemed for bookings scheduled and completed for 3 months from date of issue.

5. Each promo code can only be redeemed for 1 transaction and cannot be split across multiple transactions.

6. The promo code(s) cannot be used in conjunction with other promotions, vouchers, and discounts.

7. The promo code(s) are not replaceable, exchangeable for cash nor transferable to other GetGo users, and will be forfeited upon a booking cancellation wherein the reward voucher has been applied.

8. In the event that a user’s account is closed, suspended or not in good standing throughout the Promotion Period and at the time when the Reward is being credited, GetGo reserves the right to forfeit the Reward.

9. GetGo’s decision on all matters relating to its marketing and promotional campaigns shall be final. No correspondence or claims will be entertained.

10. GetGo reserves the sole and absolute right to withdraw, amend, and/or alter any part or the whole terms and conditions of the promotion without prior notice.
