Isn’t there something regal about high teas? Sitting on a fancy chair, sippin’ on that artisanal tea while catching up with your girlfriends, you just can’t help but feel like a tai tai. If you’ve been hankering for a bougie day out, check out these high tea spots in Singapore — many of them won’t break the bank! 😍

01 • Fosters Steakhouse — only $6.75++ per person!

Nestled in the quaint neighbourhood of Holland Village (and close to the Holland Village MRT Station), Fosters Steakhouse is known for their decadent food including the Devonshire Cream Tea Set ($13.50++) which is arguably among the cheapest high tea sets in the whole of Singapore.

And for a restaurant that’s been around since the 1960’s, you can expect to indulge in only fresh, high-quality bakes and beverages.

The spread features fresh scones with butter, home-made strawberry preserve and fresh cream, cake, finger sandwiches, and a cup of freshly brewed coffee or pot of tea.

Although TWG Tea has garnered a reputation for being expensive, did you know that its 1837 tea set will only need you to fork out $20? And that’s for two freshly baked muffins or scones served with TWG Tea jelly and whipped cream, or a patisserie from the trolley.

If you want something fancier, give the Chic menu ($35) a shot — it’s much more extensive and comes with an additional set of savoury finger sandwiches like crab tarts, and brioches with Thai basil chicken, chilli and tea-infused mango.

Have your pick between their tea or coffee, or fork out just two more dollars for their cold brew tea or signature blooming tea.
