Tucked away in the Anglo-Chinese School House (ACS House), Restaurant Espoir is taking European culinary to new heights with a spin of Malayan influence.

Ever wondered what steak would taste like with a sweet sauce? Then try the juicy and tender Striploin with Pomegranate Reduction. Other signature mains include the rich and earthy Squid Ink Paella, also locally known as sotong masak hitam. This classic dish comes loaded with fresh squid, Hokkaido scallops, and tiger prawns. 🦑

Bonus: Round up your little ones between 10am and 4pm on weekends and they’ll get to eat free (from the kids’ menu) with every adult main you order! 👧🏻

Here’s the perfect opportunity to soak in the morning sun while having your brekkie. Cafe Melba opens as early as 8am and offers outdoor seating. Find a delightful range of breakfast picks, from Homemade Granola and Breaky Burger to Eggs Benedict and Hot Smoked Salmon Toast. 🍳

You can even customise your toast and egg to your liking, with options like sourdough, rye, or bagel and scrambled, poached, or fried eggs.

If you’re swinging by for lunch, don’t miss their Balinese Fried Rice with Smoky Chicken Skewers and the Pulled Beef Rendang Flat Bread. Kids have their own special menu which comes with a choice of chilled juice, milk, or soft drink with every main.

While you’re waiting for the food, let your little bubbas jump around on the bouncy castles nearby — their tummies should be all ready for a hearty meal afterwards. 😋

Finding food truck parks in Singapore isn’t easy, but did you know that there’s a fairly new one in Sentosa called Gourmet Park? There are over 15 F&B stalls offering a diverse range of cuisines including American, Indian, Mexican, and more.

One of the must-tries is Dickson Nasi Lemak’s hearty Malaysian-style Nasi Lemak, especially the Sambal Sotong Nasi Lemak (squid sambal) and Ayam Goreng Berempah (spiced fried chicken). If you’re going meatless, Goodburgers’ plant-based burgers are totally worth it. Try the One Night in Bangkok, a Thai-inspired burger with an aromatic kick.

Don’t forget to fill the dessert side of your stomach, too! Spank My Dough sells pillow-soft bombolini doughnuts with fillings like Hazelnut Ganache and Blueberry, Lavender, and Lemon. Quench your thirst with JAMBA Juice’s Strawberries Wild or Mango-a-go-go. 🥭
