01 • Have a fam bam time at Downtown East’s Mega Carnival

Downtown East is all set to host a massive fun fest from 19 November onwards. Head down and explore over 20 stations of games, rides (including VR rides), dinosaur exhibits, and more.

If you have bubbas who are inseparable from their dino toys, bring them over to the dino-themed attractions where they’ll get to experience Viking rides, interactive dinosaur ball pits and sand pits, and saucer rides among many others.

Not just that, there’s also a 4-metre tall, 10-metre long animatronic dinosaur that’s sure to be the highlight of your kid’s day.

Those who enjoy VR gaming should definitely check out the 4 different options available at the virtual reality station, which include a motorbike adventure and a skiing experience. 🤩

Don’t forget to drop by at the food trucks and grab some grub — you’ll need all the energy in the world for the amount of fun you’ll be having.

02 • Experience the holiday season like never before at Jumptopia: Festive Village

The holiday season is about to get all the more special at Jumptopia: Festive Village. Spanning 45,000 sq ft of space at Marina Bay Sands Expo Hall C, the event comprises 7 different zones including the Kiztopia Friends Castles Zone, F&B Zone, Live Performance Zone, Entertainment Zone, and the Retail Zone for your souvenir shopping spree.

Believe it or not, the Kiztopia Friends Castles Zone alone has about 9 attractions like the Tiger’s Sleigh, where you’ll get to meet Santa’s reindeer squad with Tiger and challenge them to a race. Then make your way to Mark’s Carnival, another highlight that comes with a Christmas-themed Ferris Wheel.

We bet all that fun’s going to make you hungry, so be sure to dig into the yummy food at the food kiosk and catch your breath at one of the live performances afterwards! Wrap up your day by snapping some pictures for the ‘gram at Winter Wonderland before taking a trip down to the souvenir marketplace.

03 • Treat your taste buds at Sentosa Food Fest

Did you know that there’s an exciting gastronomical experience happening at Sentosa while you’re reading this? You heard us right! Known as Sentosa Food Fest, it’s the island’s first-ever food festival with 4 signature events and …infinite food. 🤤

Sentosa Food Fest kicked off with Sentosa GrillFest, a massive barbecue festival that features over 200 dishes from 31 F&B outlets.

Expect to indulge in local delights like Lobster Hokkien Mee and Bamboo Nasi Lemak, as well as international fares like bourbon coke striploin, grilled rice bowls, charcoal-battered fish and chips, and an array of make-your-own grill options where you can choose your meats and watch them get grilled right there.

If you enjoy sit-down meals at scenic locations, check out the inaugural Sentosa Restaurant Trail for delectable eats from around the world like Woodfire-grilled Ribeye Steak, Iberico Pork Paella, Wild Prawn Aglio Olio, Pan-seared Barramundi, and an authentic variety of pizzas.

Apart from the GrillFest and the Restaurant Trail, there’s also the Food Truck Fiesta and Craft Beer Jamboree that you may want to drag your friends to.

There are no tickets required for any of the Sentosa Food Fest events as the festival grounds are open to all visitors.

04 • Explore a mystical world at Avatar: The Experience

Avatar fans are in for a sweet surprise this November. In line with the upcoming sequel, Gardens by the Bay’s Cloud Forest has been transformed into a real-life Pandora. This interactive walk-through event features 5 zones and offers a first look at some of the movie’s new characters like Ilu and Baby Banshee.

The bioluminescent environments, mystical creatures, the Na’vi people and their culture, and the surreal flora will give you an unforgettable experience.

Avatar: The Experience is running from 28 October 2022 till 31 March 2023.

05 • Team up to play Pokemon GO Safari at Gardens by the Bay

It does seem like lots of fun things are happening at Gardens by the Bay this holiday season. If you’re a Pokemon aficionado, here’s your chance to be the very best. Pokemon GO Safari Zone is set to happen in Singapore, and to the uninitiated, Safari Zones are hotspots to capture rare Pokemons that are not usually found anywhere else. 

Some of the featured Pokemon in the event are Flying Pikachu with multi-coloured balloons, Slowpoke, Lapras, Cherubi, and Munna. If you’re lucky, you might even encounter Maractus and Shiny Purrloin. So, are you ready to catch ‘em all?

Pokemon GO Safari will be running from 18 November till 20 November 2022.

06 • Put your gaming skills to the test at Gamebox Singapore’s arcade — till 6 November only!

For a limited time, Paya Lebar Quarter is housing a neon arcade called Gamebox Singapore, where visitors can try out 10 thrilling arcade and multiplayer games across 3 zones — the Solo Arena, the Party Arena, and the Hyper Arena.
