In this article, we’ll share some of the features we’ve added over the years and how they make every journey with us secure and enjoyable.

01 • Verification

Did you know that the GetGo app has a verification feature that allows you to verify your identity with a single selfie? This is one of the app’s most important features, ensuring that your account remains secure and protected from misuse by errant users.

How it works: Every new user who signs up for a GetGo account will have to verify their identity during the signup process. Similarly, existing users will also have to verify their identities from time to time to ensure ongoing security.

02 • Vehicle Condition Report

A safe drive starts with peace of mind, which is why the Vehicle Condition Report feature is another essential part of the driving experience.

The feature’s primary goal is to capture important details about a vehicle’s condition, be it minor or major damage or cleanliness issues, and protect you from disputes for damages you didn’t cause. In addition, we’ll also be able to address any pressing vehicle issue that requires immediate attention.

How it works: The Vehicle Condition Report has 2 parts — the pre- and post-trip reports. By taking clear pictures of all 4 sides of the vehicle before and after your trip, you safeguard yourself from damage-related disputes.

03 • Booking Calendar

Got a vehicle that caught your eye? With our intuitive Booking Calendar feature, you can see any vehicle’s availability up to 30 days in advance and plan your trips early.

Not only that, but the Booking Calendar feature also lets you extend ongoing bookings, so long as your vehicle is still available after your booking. So with us, your rides can be convenient and spontaneous if you need more time on the road. Using this feature to extend your drive is important because it helps you avoid late return fees.

How it works: The Explore more timings button takes you to the Booking Calendar view, where you can view your preferred vehicle’s availability over the day and the next 30 days.

04 • In-app Electric Vehicle charging

When you drive a GetGo, you have access to over 350 electric vehicle (EV) charging stations in the GetGo app and different charging operators to choose from.

These charging stations were integrated into the app to give you a convenient and quick way to juice up your EV. All you have to do is find a charging station near you through the app and use the in-app EV charging feature.

The best part is that, just like refuelling, we cover all EV charging costs. You’ll also earn rewards on the go! Charging with any of our partnered stations during your booking automatically adds a promo code to your wallet within 7 working days based on the charge amount. So, by charging your GetGo EV, you’re able to save on your next ride with us while also creating a more pleasant experience for the next user.

05 • Improved vehicle availability

We get it — it’s not fun to see your favourite vehicle getting booked by someone else when you need it. But if you’re not on urgent business, how about checking the vehicle’s next availability?

That’s what our improved vehicle availability feature lets you do. The next time you see a number 0 pin at your usual vehicle’s location, tap the pin to see when it’s available again and book it if the alternative timing works for you. With the option to book an available vehicle spontaneously or in advance, your drives will always be easy with us!
